Dawn at the Alamo remembers Texians killed in 1836 battle

SAN ANTONIO -- More than 100 San Antonians turned out to commemorate the Battle of the Alamo.

This year's ceremony took place 178 years after the fall of the Alamo to Mexican forces.

This morning's re-enactment began at 6a.m. and included a solemn remembrance of the 182 Texians killed in the early morning hours of March 6, 1836 following a 13-day siege at the Alamo. ...
