Local students get jump on college

SAN ANTONIO - Some local high school students are getting a jump start on college.

Thanks to a program geared at prepping kids for higher education, especially in math and science.

The 130-Harlandale ISD freshmen are taking classes at Palo Alto College, where they will learn their way around campus, and work on team projects in science, technology, engineering and math fields. ...
