What you need to know about Baby Moses law

News4 San Antonio sat down with State Rep. Geanie Morrison, who 15 years ago sponsored the Baby Moses law. She took time to answer questions about the law.  

How does the Baby Moses law Work?

“The intent of the law is that the woman who is pregnant and has the child and for whatever reason decides that she cannot take care of the child, and (the child) is within the age range of up to 60 days, that she can literally walk into a hospital, walk into a fire station, or where there's an EMT -- 24 hours a day --  that has a sign hanging from the wall; can hand that child over, and that child can be taken care of, put into an adoptive foster home and then adopted. ...
